What’s In A Name?

Our name identifies us. A family name traces its’ roots to our ancestors. Our first name and perhaps the date it is in use helps identify us throughout all our ancestors.

I mention this because over the second part of my life I realized that since I was not going to marry, our family name ceases with me.

In other families, if there had been good or bad events, future family members could right the wrongs, or make things worse. Our family name will have no corrections, no adjustments. This is similar to a movie which stands on its own with no possibility of a remake.
