Rainy Day

I don’t know how much rain the storm brought, however it rained most of the day. It was odd because usually with heavy rain there are dark clouds and we had fairly bright skies.

It has been so cold at night that I finally broke down and bought a sweatshirt top at Walmart the other day. Funny thing is, the cheapest one was $7.50 and was a University of Hawaii logo item (which you would think would be very expensive).

I went back tonight and they were over $9 now. I did buy a few more baseball caps because they were $3 each. They had some at $2.50 but those were vented in the back (a plastic screen rather than pure cloth).

I went to a workshop the other day which involves farm recordkeeping. Although I knew and do most of the items already, it was very informative and well done anyway. They gave useful handouts and offered good examples of types of records and why you would keep them.
