This has nothing to do with guns, by the way.

I finally decided that I was going to consolidate my retirement accounts to one place and see if I can stop paying some fees, etc. So today I created an account with a financial house and started moving my 401K and IRAs over. It has been a long time coming and I am sure I missed some opportunities along the way. Still, better now than later.

I am sorry to have to close a couple of the accounts, but it is time. One was my 401K which was set up specifically so I could take a loan without government fines and fees. It served me well while I was managing cash flow issues with the new farm. However, if I was to have employees, they would be able to take advantage of the plan and I didn’t want that, since it was MY retirement money

In any event, the wheels are turning and the a new chapter is being written.
