Looking Glass

I made it 50 years without glasses before getting my first two pair. I needed reading glasses and also had to have a pair for distances. It appears that things in between were fine. It is time to get a new prescription because both pair finally broke and I have been relying upon cheap reading glasses ever since.

Long time readers here can attest that I really need the glasses because I often mispell words here and rarely correct them. Because I only have reading glasses at the moment, I tend to take them off and put them on constantly.

At times I think about having an operation to correct my vison, but won’t because I just can’t bring myself to let them do it. I won’t say “never” and will have to wait and see what the future brings. I think “never” is not such a bad word though!
