Look, up in the sky, it’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a… a missile?

Pacific Business News reports “The U.S. Missile Defense Agency conducted a successful test using a new Raytheon Co. interceptor missile fired from the USS Lake Erie off Hawaii to down another missile fired from the Pacific Missile Range Facility on Kauai late Tuesday.”

These tests are usually conducted west of Kauai, so we miss the specticle here on the Big Island.

Then again, if the volcano explodes, WE will be the first to know.
