The front and back nails can get caught in the loops of the towels in the whelping box, so the back ones need to be done also.
Sandras female Lab had puppies a couple days ago and as usual, these dogs seem to think that after hours and weekends are the time to deliver, when the Vets charge extra! In her case, a c-section was don because the mom was having problems delivering and this would ensure mom and pups would be safe. In her case she has female chocolate Labs. That is a slight competition to my chocolate Labs, but I think we both will have no problems selling these beautiful puppies.
