Conundrums

A conundrum is a riddle with as twist at the end.
An example might be: What is black and white and read all over? A newspaper.
So when is a car not a car? When it turns into a driveway.
When is Friday not Friday? When it starts on Thursday.
Here in Hawaii (and perhaps across the nation) retailers are getting a jump on Black Friday by opening on Thursday.
I envision that this will extend even earlier, mimicking the Christmas items starting well before November 1st.
Unfortunately, the longer a special day or holiday is spread out, the less exciting it is. Compare this to New Years Eve, which lasts just a minute.
