Anticipation

With anticipation I await Wednesday.

I believe my check will arrive over night and I can pay some bills.

Today I picked up my roasted coffee and am filling bags to ship out tomorrow.

A family is driving here from the other side of the island to take delivery of the puppy (young girl). They have named her already and will meet her about 11:30am. “Isis” or “Izzy” for short will have a new home. It will be quiet here again and I’ll miss her, but that is the idea of raising puppies; to find them good homes where they and their masters will enjoy a lifetime of memories and companionship.

I brought her into the bedroom with Koa and O’Lena and it was chaos for a while, with lots of slobbering, and jumping and nuzzling. Izzy gets excited, drinks water and then seems to dispense it all over people, pets and objects. Koa usually gets the brunt of it, and after tomorrow can get back to a quiet and relatively dry life!
